Local author Kimberly Hoffman’s newest book "Love, Hope: Children Express Their Emotions During the Coronavirus Pandemic" delves into the feelings children have expressed during our current pandemic. Hoffman took real answers kids gave their parents about the pandemic and turned them into letters to the fictional character named Hope. During this event for parents Hoffman plans on exploring the reality of children having a difficult time navigating this time, how to start a conversation, how to be an empathetic listener and suggestions for creative outlets. If you miss the live event, you can view this on the library’s FB page and YouTube channel in the near future.
